Top 7 Online Car Giveaways [Ranked]

best-car-giveaways

I wrote an article revealing how these online car giveaways work. Since it’s been published, I get constant questions asking me:

“What’s the Best Car Giveaway Site?”

“What Car Giveaway Company has the Best Odds?”

“Is This Car Giveaway Site Legit?”

After researching for that article, I put together a list of my 7 favorites. I have personally entered 6 out of the 7 car sweepstakes on this list and from my research are reputable websites.

  1. Throtl (Buy Car Parts and Win a Car?)
throtl-car-giveaways

Throtl is so unique because you can buy quality car parts and at the same time get chances to win a car.

If you’ve been eyeing a part for your car, you might as well buy it on Throtl. Those larger purchase like car parts gets you much more entries to win than less expensive merch items. Everything from wheels, suspension, intakes, brake upgrades, seats, helmets, forced induction parts, and more is on the site. Not to mention maintenance things you might need to buy anyway: spark plugs, oil and oil filters, clutch kits, injectors, fuel pumps, etc.

You might think they would upcharge these parts heavily. But I was shocked to see they offer price matching through their live chat. Not to mention they have a military discount which I don’t see advertised on many other sites.

Plus, they have an interesting VIP program with some surprisingly decent benefits.

The membership comes in at $9.97 a month and includes:

  •  10-40% OFF Car Parts
  •  50 entries/month to win a free car!
  •  5x entries for every $1 spent
  •  Deals on local auto services
  •  1on1 Project Car Build Support
  •  Free VIP Window Decal

They have weekly deals like getting 20% off at Advance Auto Parts as well which can definitely come in handy as well.

Oh and I almost forgot, the cars they giveaway are pretty sweet as well. Modified EVOs, R35 Skylines, WRX STIs, Nissan 240SXs, Mazda RX8s and more are on the previous sweepstakes list.

  1. Omaze (Giveaways for a Cause)
omaze-car-giveaways

This company lands so high on the list for a simple reason, they support great charities with the proceeds. This includes veteran organizations, Make-a-Wish, Children’s hospitals, earth preservation charities, and countless more.

They offer a large variety of cars including sports cars, sprinter camper vans, trucks, Teslas, classic muscle cars, etc. Anything you’re into, Omaze probably has a sweepstake you would be interested in entering.

They hold a 4.02/5 Stars on the BBB Website at the time of writing and the general feedback online for them is positive that I have seen. It’s important to note that Omaze is a for-profit organization that supports nonprofit companies within each individual giveaway.

I personally entered a couple of their giveaways. Even though I didn’t win, I still felt a piece of my money went to a good cause.

  1. Tuner Cult
tunercult-car-sweepstakes

Tuner Cult is the first giveaway I can remember entering myself. They have a large social media presence and are known for giveaway modified JDM cars like Supra’s, GTR’s, S2000’s, NSX’s and many more.

They have over 30 previous winners and have been running these giveaways for over 3 years.

What I like is the huge variety of shirts, keychains, socks, hats, boardshorts, joggers and more. There is so much selection and unique designs you can find something you can actually wear and enjoy rather than just spending money to enter the giveaway. I still wear some of the shirts I got over a year ago from Tuner Cult.

This is my go-to site if I am ever interested in getting some car merch and getting a chance to win an awesome car.

  1. Speed Society (The Fastest Cars of Any Giveaway)

If you are into superfast domestic muscle cars and sports cars, Speed Society is the #1 pick for giveaways. They have some fast Nissan R35 Skylines in their past, but it’s the best place for the most part.

They’ve been going these giveaways since 2013 and have a list of 32+ past winners. All of the cars are insanely fast, their name after all is Speed Society.

When I’m writing this, the current car is a 1200HP Hellcat Charger with an army theme to it. They are actually supporting a non-profit charity, the Camaraderie foundation for this car which is great to see.

  1. 80Eighty (Exciting Exotic Cars)

80 Eighty has a similar concept to Tuner Cult but I have seen a shift in the type of cars they giveaway.

In the beginning, they started with JDM-style cars like Supra’s, Subaru WRX’s Mitsubishi EVO, etc. However, if you look at their recent winners you see exotic cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren.

They have 55+ confirmed winners from all across the United States and Canada and that list keeps growing. There is a great selection of merch on their site and some of it is pretty subtle and I wouldn’t mind wearing it every day.

If you want a chance to win a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Mclaren, I recommend 80Eighty!

  1. Prime Driven [Best Unique JDM Giveaways]
primedriven-giveaway-review

Prime Driven originally started as an MR2 parts company that gave away 2nd gen MR2s. If you check their past winner cars 1-8 were all second-generation MR2s. Since then they have transitioned to giving away all different kinds of JDM cars.

What I like is that they offer a healthy mix of cars including imported RHD cars. Such as GT4 Toyota Celica’s, R32 Nissan Skylines, Nissan 300zx’s, and their current giveaway car is a Mitsubishi EVO 4.

I’ve personally entered their giveaway multiple times. I ordered some detailing sprays from the site and they worked surprisingly well. You can all kinds of merch, but I figure I need detailing supplies so might as well get the chance to win a cool car when buying it.

Sometimes they even run short giveaways with a limited number of spots which gives you a true sense of your odds. I love to see those.

  1. Dream Giveaway Garage [#1 Variety Pick]
dreamcargiveaway-review

I won’t even attempt to list all the different cars they giveaway, it’s simply too many. Looking at just their homepage, I see a 1969 Charger, an ND MX-5 Miata, and a Dodge Ram TRX. To say Dream Giveaway Garge has variety is an understatement.

With a dream car giveaway, you don’t buy merchandise like many others. You actually select a donation amount for a number of tickets. These donations go to some great charities like Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), National Guard Educational Foundation, 4Kids and more!

One cool thing is that they actually publish the winning ticket number for everyone to see. I have never seen another company do this.

Right now they are running an exclusive offer where you can get DOUBLE tickets on $25 or more orders! Use this link to unlock that deal: Double Tickets Over $25

Bonus: Which Car Giveaway Has the Best Odds?

The truth is, this question is almost impossible to answer. A majority of these companies do not publish the total amount of entries. Making it impossible to tell what percentage shot you have at taking one of these cars home. In almost all of the cases above, there will be thousands of participants with multiple entries each (sometimes even triple digits of entries for a single person). So from a birds-ey view, the odds are definitely stacked against you and honestly, the chances are low.

What I will say is that the smaller companies will tend to get less overall entires and in turn leave more chance for you. However, you do lose the trust and reputation that you get with the larger sites. Out of this list above my gut feels like Prime Driven has some great odds compared to the others.

So, I want to ask a question to you. Do you plan to enter any of these sites? Have you entered in the past?
